Seun Kuti commends Ondo governor over move to cultivate Marijuana
Seun Kuti has stated that he will move the base of Afrobeat music to Ondo State following the State’s governor revealing plans to start cultivating Marijuana legally.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and the NDLEA boss visited Thailand recently to learn how to cultivate medical Marijuana.
In a tweet, he revealed:
Our focus now is Medical Marijuana cultivation in controlled plantations under the full supervision of the @ndlea_nigeria. I strongly implore the FG to take this seriously as it is a thriving industry that will create 1000’s of Jobs for our youth & spur Economic Diversification.
Reacting to the news, Seun Kuti who is open about his love for Marijuana stated that the move is capable of making him set up a base in Ondo State.
He shared:
‘ehn Mr excellency sir, if u want me to move to your state, just say so. This beating about the bush is unnecessary. Afrobeat is about to switch home base y’all. Just imagine one good joint for my back ache then better Ondo pounded yam to heal my stomach pain’.
