Update: Friend of man accused of killing his wife in Lagos debunks reports; says lady died of low blood pressure

One Jude Chinedu, who claims to be a friend and colleague of Mgbeodimma Samuel has debunked reports circulating on social media that he killed his wife, Gloria Onyedikachi Obinna.

Few days ago, it was reported that Samuel beat his wife to death last Saturday in Lagos, just four months after their wedding.

According to reports, after killing his wife, the suspect dumped her body in the car, drove to his parents' home and didn't inform them about her death till the following day.

Writing on Facebook, Mr Chinedu claims that the deceased suffered from Low Blood Pressure. Read his post below:

"Good morning Nigeria and Africa,base on the false story and wrong accusation on a brother,friend and colleagu please I would love to clear the air. 
He left the house to shave after watching the annoying match between Nigeria and Croatia,leaving the wife who was suffering from Low Blood Pressure, little did he know death would come calling,leaving her to struggle with her own death,he came back and saw her unconscious.  She was rushed to the hospital around 12am but the doctor confirmed her dead,so they had no other option than to inform her family,though the uncle was already informed,so please whosoever that is tarnishing the image of this man will never know peace from God and from h it s wife and beware of fake stories this is a social network, for every right up is permitted"
